Chuck Daly died. He was 78 and had Pancreatic Cancer. I'm not a huge sports fan but I LOVE going to sporting events. Any excuse to drink a crappy beer out of a plastic cup for $5.75 and scream like a jackass, i'm in. I grew up loving the Detroit Pistons and have since fallin in love with the Orlando Magic since i've moved here, so it was sad to hear a former Pistons (two titles) and Magic (took em to the playoffs) coach had passed away. RIP.

He's the jackass who "ok'd" the "photo-op" by the 757 in Manhattan (followed by two fighter jets) a few weeks ago. He's a moron and I don't want him making any decisions for American's ever again. (I personally asked for his resignation in a previous blog).
SWINE FLU!!!!!
Are you still alive? Yah, me too. Today is one of the first days that I didn't see a "Swine Flu" story on the CNN homepage. THANK GOD. The numbers grew and fell and we all quickly realized (after researching on past Pandemics and the common FLU) that it was horseshit. I love that we now have the ability and resources to do our own fact checking within seconds. Tens of Thousands of AMERICANS die from the regular flu every year. Once we realized that, the Government realized it was going to be a lot harder to try to focus our attentions on something other than whats really going on. Epic Fail.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!
Some homeless guy here in Orlando, got arrested for stealing deoderant from a store. Nothing else, just deoderant. Held on $2500 bail....and I guess he didn't turn up to court for a past DUI so another $1500 on top of that.
Now, before I go on the defensive for this guy, let me clarify. I know stealing is against the law. Whether you are 9 years old or 99 years old or you are rich or poor. But for fuck sake, the man stole deoderant because he knew he smelled liked crap. He's obviously homeless because he's an alcoholic (or worse) because of the prior DUI. The guy could be a crazy lunatic muderer for all I know...but if he isn't...if he's just an alcoholic who's life has turned to the shitter...then he should be let out of jail and i'll personally buy the guy some deoderant. AXE deoderant should bail him out and give him a job in a commercial.

Orlando ATE up the story of Shannon Burke (local talk radio host on 104.1fm). I'm a talk radio junkie. I listened to AM talk radio on my way to High School when I was 16...I was once a fan of Glenn Becks (kill me). I love opinions, I love news and when I moved to Orlando I fell in love with 104.1. It's all talk radio all day long. A great mix of humor and current events on all the shows. Shannons show was a good mix of everything.
This story was a rollercoaster. At first, we all thought he went crazy and tried to kill his family. HOLY SHIT!!! Then we heard the 911 call where he stated it was an accident and his gun discharged while he was holding it. We then called him an idiot and figured he would still be at one of the radio stations functions a few days later. THEN, we saw the photos of his wife and his dog. That changed everything. His wifes head looked like it had been sliced open with a chainsaw. She must have had a hundred stiches and the wound was like 13 inches long. It was disgusting. And the dog lost some of its tail and had a similar gangly wound on its leg. THAT'S WHEN THE SHIT HIT THE FAN. Quickly afterward, he was FIRED from Clear Channel. Then after that, his wife, his ex-girlfriend and ex-wife all filed restraining orders against him. Once out of jail, he lasted one day. He ended up having a buddy of his go to his wifes house to get his motorcycle and he was then RE-ARRESTED. Apparently he tried to remove his monitoring ankle bracelet too. Psycho.
Shannon Burke. You sir, are a fucking idiot and I want your previous job.
